Now, you oughta check with Stas to see how he feels about that first.

I read that all life...ALL life... on the Tisa is dead. There is no bacteria. Birds that live on fish are endangered. The news this morning says that the cyanide is diluting as it heads into the Danube. This is a real bummer.

Lilly is on a distinguished road
There are two man-made channels (Dunav-Tisa-Dunav) which are connected between the Danube and Tisa. The Tisa river flows into the Danube south of Novi Sad. We can assume then that anything from that point to the Black Sea will be polluted.

The effects will be devastating to the ecology and the economy. I assume that the water is also used for irrigation. We all know what that means.

People in that area fish to survive in these hard times but now even that is gone.

LillyNomad,
Welcome back John, missed you.

Let's stop for a moment with this disaster and come to another one...

Well, let me introduce to you, the most naive girl on this forum and probably not only here...You know that this his "Ex" was nothing but a lie! Why do I trust people so much?
And now, knowing how naive Beata is, dear Bill, is our deal still valid?

Beata

Ps. And those poor animals in the Tisa...Gee, it looks awful!

Greetings Beata,
A deal is a deal. I will respond about details via E-mail. I will probably have time this weekend.
Good Luck.

Beata,

The only way I'd let him in the door now (if I was you) would be if he bought you the house you were standing in!!

Sure, through the door and then quickly out. Through the window of course!
