What are Ukrainian men like?

Comrade Major General Ulysess,there seem to be a play of words going on here and I feel that the other party is not giving you a precise and definite answers to the questions you have posed.Comrade Ulysess,I am sure you are sort of confused just like me and I wish we could get a more definite answer to the questions posted in this thread by the party concerned.I would be most honoured if I could be of any assistance in throwing some light to this small confusion which has taken place here.Be free to contact me here if such assistance is needed from me.With no hestitation I would say Ukraine man are very intelligent,cautious,highly suspicious,courteous,hot tempered,conservative and the most caring people,in otherwards they are very soft inwardly.(very generous). Unfortunately here in Southern Ontario Ukrainians are known for a different type of dancing. Such stereotypes are so sad. Each time I mention to someone about an Ukrainian or Russian friend, I get asked if she is a "dancer".
The Ukrainians I know don't deny their culture though. They are proud.

I'm not too familiar with the politics of Ukraine but why is it in some Russian dominated cities some Ukrainains will say they are of a Russian background?

I'm Hungarian, so maybe an Ukrainian will be better able to answer you. As I understand it, there still are many Russians living in other CIS countries, so maybe they really are Russian..

Maybe because they do have a Russian background. For example, I'm Ukrainian but I was born in Russia. Russia and Ukraine was one not too long ago, so its only natural that many people feel a connection to Russia.
