That is usually the reply of a person who has difficulty understanding,appreciating or even comprehending the concept,culture and intelligence of people who look,speak act differently.
As a first generation emigrant child in a mixed racial environment where the predominant language was English, I can say that I was surprised out of my tiny infantile mind when I heard the way my parents talked about the Australians and their attitudes to things.What amazed me was the way they all got along with all the other nationalities(including the Germans) but still had that undercurrent feeling for dark skinned people and also occasionally a hint of anti semitysm.Hmmmm!!.
This I think was all brought on (the way they spoke about people) by the amount of drink that had been had and with whom.
I, for one, objected to the requests of my so called mates and peers to 'say something in your language or show us how you dance ' as if a trained monkey.They were the little taunts no tic on racial cleansing,but they did make me have empathy for people of other races when they got picked on. So, for those of you who have lived a sheltered life and not been taunted by racist bigots go and live in Africa or South America for a while and get a taste of being derided and ridiculed for your colour and culture(or lack of).
Sorry.about the long winded rant/rave, but yes Ukrainians and Europeans from the Slav states appear to be very proud of their ethnic roots but unfortunately they are occasionally to blind to see their own imperfections.

Oh my gyod. Hhh i mean really yall. There is absolutely nothing wrong with black people. I live in the US and I know at one time we were really racist but get over it already. We are people with different cultures and we look different but thats it. In fact my first real kiss was from a black guy. And one of the doctors I work for is a really goodlookin' black man who is talented. Wow he is like a magician at healing people. And such a player. He has all kinds of girls on the side. NOT ME. Its truely amazing.The guy Im seeing now has blue eyes, brown curly hair, dimples, muscles, tall...whoa im losing track of the conversation haha. But I don't even think about race unless someone brings it up. A friend of mine in high school was an arab. He sat next to me in one of my classes and we use to pass notes back and forth. He tought me how to write in arabic. There is nothing wrong with either. They are both people just as you are. And there is good and bad in every race. So you can't judge a race as a whole by a few bad apples. White, black, mexican, french, german, ukranian. Romeo and Juliet. Just people.

My doctor is from South Africa and a top GP. Saved my life more than once(besides being his job!). My Cardiac Surgeon (Top in the field of ByPass Surgery in the Nation) is not English born and the same goes for the Cardiologist who is from Lebanon or somewhere East. My CT scanning Doctor is Scottish and my Vascular Surgeon is English to the bone. Race and colour have no direct or indirect bearing on someones intelligence. Except maybe by indirect influence on the persons ability to go to school and have decent food , thats another story.
I think this topic is dead now!.Racial biggots are never welcome as they are only equal to wife beaters and child molestors and deserve only one attitude :- To be sent to Coventry ie ignored/isolated,non communicado.

Years ago at late 1990's whe foreign students came to study in Ukaine or Russia, specially from ARabian countries, or Africa... many of such guys behaved too bad to the girls
on the way of Unrespect, were heating them, speaking bad ect
and many girls married with love went to live in Syria, Lebanon ,Turkey ect ... they were punished there by their husbands ....andalso too hard for them to go back at home
so from here is such thoughts about people fromSOuthern countries as everybody knows in Ukraine and rest of slavic nations that it is better notto have a contacts with Muslims in general

Many student came here make family...left their girls.. pregnant and lives cool at home ...
that's why NOW Ukr girls don't want to meet foregn guys from muslims countries..
and guys lost respect befause of their friends ( girls) sisters and so on.

for Ukr people Black means : in general dark haird not Black from Africa we have such work in Russ slang :cherniy ( black) mean person of muslimworld

I workwith foreign people I met a lot!
Italians our girlsson't like because of such behavious they have normally when they come:
he is married... coming in KIev, found a girl... promisse her what ever,... having sex... making kids... after time go back in Italy... and feel ok...

come to your home??? cheat on you?? and then leave you ... this is all very deep psycology... and it is not a matter of rasism ... or education... we have such expression:

as the call, so the echo so if you will proove to a woman... that you cost her attention and you are serious.... she will be yours... forever!

and it is not a matter of colour!
and don't complain like a girls here , that all the people of Ukraine are rasists!
