Hi everyone,
I am hoping to find a penpal in Lugansk. I have visited Ukraine and loved the country, the culture, and the people.
I adopted two boys from Ukraine over a year and a half ago. They are the greatest blessings in my life and I hope to keep their Ukrainian heritage very much apart of their lives in America. I am a member of a local Ukrainian group, but would love to be in contact with someone still living in Ukraine.
I am not sure about the stereo types concerning Americans and Ukrainians. I found the majority of people in Ukraine to be extremely hard-working, very kind, with big hearts. I found many things in common, mainly everyone just seems to be finding their way in life wanting happiness. I don't think that is different in American or Ukraine. I know, a very simple theory, but that is what I observed.
I wish to find a penpal in Lugansk or the surrounding areas, that is interested in maybe learning about the average American lifestyle. I am a very caring person with a decent heart and hope to share stories and life experiences with a new penpal.
I would hope to find someone that would share Ukrainian culture and traditions with me. I hope to find someone that actually lives in the region where my sons were born and lived. I want them to share in these stories and learn good things about their culture, not just remembering their rough beginnings. I hope to one day take my sons back to Ukraine and would love them to see things for themselves, not just the land, but the heart of the people there.
If anyone is interested, please email me. I look forward to it.
Best regards to all!
