Help and Information Please

I▓m looking for some help or information about traveling to a town in the Ukraine. I believe that the town is called Lugansk (spelled many ways). I recently met a lady online and I▓m looking to travel there to meet her. Of course I have had hundreds of warnings about dishonest women online. Maybe I▓m naОve, but there must be some honest people that are online that want to strike up a friendship and possibly a serious relationship. I wasn▓t really looking for anyone, but this kind of fell into my lap. Anyway, should I fly into Odessa? If so, what▓s the best way to get to this town? I would really appreciate any information on this.

I cannot help you with you visit from the US to Lugansk as I am in the UK. I visited my girlfriend there in August and we got the train from Kiev- it is an all night journey and you share four to a cabin (if fully filled), however it was a relatively comfortable journey and the train I had was new It was a good way to meet people and to see the countryside as you travel through. I cannot say that Luhansk was the most beautiful place I have seen- a real contrast to Kiev as it is almost like traveling back 50 years in time, however the people seemed pleasant enough. so if you email me (see profile) I'll send you the link, I do not have it to hand at the moment. Good luck in your meeting, I am sure there are genuine and honest people out there, but the usual advice of 'be careful' should be kept in mind. My girlfriend is visiting in December and I will not make any firm decission about 'our future' until then or perhaps on another visit. I found the people I met there warm and friendly once they get to know you. If you keep your eyes open and remain a little wary then you should be OK. There is quite a reasonable museum there which is worth a visit. I wish you good luck and a safe journey
