Need help with information on Minsk.

Can anyone tell me about Minsk? My Grandfather was born there and I would like to know more about this city. I can't seem to find any information at all about it anywhere. Here is my email or you can post a reply here too.

I believe that Minsk you think about is most likely a capital of Belarus.(may be this will help)I really do not remember coming across a city with such name in Ukraine, hovewer I can be wrong.

You are right but since I have such a hard time finding anything I thought I would give it a try on this site. Maybe someone would know something. How far is Belarus from the Ukraine? Do you know if there is a site like Belarus.com there? Hope to here back soon and thank you for the reply. sunshine
