UK Rock Musician Weds Ukrainian Ex-PM▓s Daughter

Rock musician and a shop owner from the United Kingdom has wed the daughter of the former Ukrainian prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

On Sunday, 25-year-old Evhenya Tymoshenko and 36-year-old Sean Carr got married at the Vydubych monastery in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev. Carr, earlier an Anglican, was baptized in one of Kiev churches on September 27.

150 people have been invited for the wedding feast. Carr▓s band called Death Valley Screamers would play in the evening.

Carr quoted by Ukrainian media said he first met Evhenya Tymoshenko in an Egyptian bar in April 2004. He proposed her at the Hard Rock Caf? in Sharm al-Sheikh. Evhenya has been living and studying in London since she was fourteen years old. She is now student at the London School of Economics. The couple plans to live in Ukraine.

Carr has earlier been married and has a seven-year-old daughter. His first wife quoted by British media said he repeatedly beat her, even in the presence of the daughter, and once hit her so violently she had to have a full denture made.
