True happiness....!!!!!

Hello everyone! How is everyone doing today? I hope that life does not have everyone down and with a frown. This topic I am posting is very important to me because this is based on a very resent experience of mine and I wanted to share it with everyone. I had some time this morning and there is no time like the present to express this feeling. True happiness! We are all looking for happiness in life..to feel content and joy. It is something as human beings we all are looking for. Where does true happiness come from? I must say that naturally I am no different then any human being. Most people seek for happiness by aquiring things that they can hold or see to fill that void. Well, when you had pancreas failure, get over it, have hypoglycemia, get over it, and then have a fungal infection, and you finally get over all of these things..including a very, very difficult family life in the past, you learn that happiness is having your health...Being alive and well. Simply being a thinking human being and able to function is all you need to be happy with. Happiness does not come from experience, though it does help, but even the rich want more and more and aren`t happy with what they have many times. Rather, happiness comes from inside. It starts with inside each of us...saying," I am alive and I am well.Life is good! Any trials in life is to make me stronger and teach me a lesson. I believe this very much because when you are suffering it`s eithersick or swim..no doubt about it and I am happy I did not throw in the towel because I made it...Thank God!HAhhhh.

I know exactly what you mean and how you feel since I've realized same thing about same time as you did. For about a week now, I am so happy all the time Just to breath air or being able to see this beautiful world is a joy itself! Really, being happy changed my life, although some people around me begin to look a little different at me, like am I crazy or something. But that's not important, I'm happy

Even food looks different now, something I've hated with all my heart, I now can just enjoy it hehe :O) life is great!

Yes Stas....When you lost a car and a business and had to quit school for a time because of a situation you could not control, you start thinking about the priorities and meaning of life. When you walk to work and it`s -2 F or raining from a thunderstorm because the area you live does not have public transportation or you don`t have ride from your parent`s, just having a car is joy in itself. Actually , I learned to enjoy my walks by listening to music or finding out how fast I could walk to work in...I mean when you loose everything, you understand how awesome you had it. You see you took certain things for granted and when you see other people whose lives are easy and don`t have to contend with the things you have to...you understnd but you don`t..know what I mean.. . Yesss! Joy...and happiness.Being content with what you have...Feel better physically and think clearer. Yeppy!Thanks Stas for being such a cool guy. Your great! Toast to happiness!If they think you are crazy for being happy...remember brilliant people went mad!

Hehe thank Steve, I know and understand what you mean, I guess all of us had experienced this once upon a time ...

Like today I was walking wearing black jeans and black shirt, it was really hot, sun was burning my skin-out ... but then some really deep,inside giggling came out, and I started laughing like a horse without a reason, and then I was saying hello to every tree I've passed, and I walked with a huge smile for like 20 minutes indeed I am a crazy one.
