What is the one thing that you don't like the most in people.
Let me tell you what I don't like and why I started this topic. I do not like two-faced people. You know, the kind that is smiling in your face but then talks crap behind your back...I know that if I don't like something in a person I am going to let them know about it, even if it is wrong of me to do that. Anyway, let me just tell you from the beginning. I work at pizza place at night. My assistan manager is going to quit because of what just had happend. One of the employers was talking a lot of *** about her. And in general, everybody is talking about somebody who is not there, and judging them. Is it just me or it is wrong? I hope I make sense to you guys, because right now I am kind of frustrated. Everybody is smiling like everything is Ok, but next thing you know they curse on you and so on. Well, not me, as far as I know, but that makes me think sometimes, what are they talking about me behind my back. Have you been in a situation like this? I don't know what to do. I don't think that I can stop it, and I don't want to be a part of it, but I also would not want to loose my job,it is the only income i've got right now. Anyway, it is good to be back here on board with you guys. Hope that you all are doing fine. Later... Ok I |

MARY - my lovely Chernivtsi chick - You have got to remember one big thing > you are able to see individual people (and the world in general) from both sides of the moral line, whereas many people only see 'the worldly side' of life. What you are experiencing is basic common ground for many people. Sad, but true. That is how many people live their whole lives - British TV 'soaps' are full of it....it's quite depressing !!. However, I know that you have been brought up to appreciate the love and kindness and truth and honesty in people. Don't become disillusioned about this - just stand back and get YOUR perspectives right. You know what I'm taking about when I quote "You are IN the world - but do not become OF the world". Lights under barrels also comes to mind !!
I am going to France this weekend for 2 weeks, then 2 weeks home, then 2 weeks in Chernivtsi and Arina will be my Interpreter. Regards to all your family. Love and respect, ANDREW. |

Hello...How are you doing today? First, give regards to your family and have a wonderful week. Ever since I was young, I have experienced this phenomona in my family...family members talking about family and also at every job that I have had. When people are different or do things we do not agree with or we feel bad about ourselves, the natural thing for people to do is to talk about other people. My question, like yoruself, is if they are talking about others then who is to say they are not talking about me? This has limited me from speaking about other people behind there back but I have to admit I have caught myself doing it. Most of the things were not bad and I have said to the person themselves but I don`t believe it is right. People many times have nothing better to do then to talk about others because they can not look at themselves . If we can see our own faults, then we would not talk about others. It is a waste of time, also. The energy used to talk about others could be exercised to get to know those people. If we got to know people really, they would not seem so different from ourselves and no need to talk about them. I have been the blunt of conversation many times when I was not in the area and I have been told this by others,so I know it does not feel good formyself. Treat others like you want to be treated. The golden rule...many times in not applied. Yes, as you can see, this phenomona is nothing new and a waste of time. I feel very bad for people sometimes because life is too short to waste on such unproductive speech. This is all I have to say.... Good luck in the situation.I am sorry you have to experience the futility of human nature. Friends, Steve.

I understand....Marinka...I feel the same way, also. Feelings of depression because of the negative attitude that one person has toward another. I am sure you know this already and I have to admit it is hard to do..but the only advice I have is to keep yourself busy and focused on other things and not on all of the talk coming from these people. I know it is not always easy but if you focus on it, it will always be worse. I have to remind myself of this all of the time. It can be so hard.

Greetings Andrew,
FYI,- France is not going to be safe for a while. There is a group of Polish tourist on the way, or will be on the way shortly. If you should run into Beata, please give her a hug and a kiss for all of us. That should be fun. Good Luck |
