Cool

Well, that happened on my first trip to the USA ( well actually it was my only trip - next time I simply stayed here ). My host sister brought me to the Haunted House on Haloween's Eve somewhere around Waterbury, CT. It was not scary at all. At first. I actually was enjoying the creepy atmosphere around the house. But then we came in. Nothing special at first. Nada. There was a doll lying in the rocking chair. The doll looked like a real person mercilessly murdered in the most brutal way. Big deal. We all were a little bit disappointed at first and we were right about to move on and go see other rooms. But then "the doll" jumped up and grabbed my shoulders. Why me ! Just because I did not expect it at all, I was terrified. I was screaming on the top of my voice. The guy whom I took for " the doll" felt very successful, apparently, and just would not get off me. The scars and blood on his face looked so realistic that I just could not catch my breath and was overwhelmed with repulsion. And I was still startled, I guess. Oh well, I was only 14.
I did not know what to do to get away from him. He was chasing me around. So, as my last resource, I started swearing at him. In russian. Wow ! THe guy got really interested ! Now he definitely would not leave me alone. Then I started "expressing myself" in English so that he could understand what I was talking about. The whole scene attracted the attention of people wround. My host "sister" said to the people " It's OKay. They are just boyfriend and girlfriend
having a fight." That's when I actually noticed that I was in the center of attention. I hugged the guy and said to everyone around "Sorry. We are almost done." And pulled on the most idiotic smile on my face.
The guy was actually not bad. I told him that if I wanted an American citizenship I would have married him He nodded yes. The staff of the haunted house was not allowed to talk. Only to scream at people and scare them to death.
When we were leaving I saw him standing in the parking lot waving at me.
That was pretty damn scary at some point, but now whenever I think about it, i just have a good laugh. Still.

Unhappy

My scariest moment was when I was about 5 years of age and I was in the back playing on a swing set while my mother was having a girlscout meeting inside. I climbed on the very top of the swing set like a stupid little child . I was standing on top and I felt like king of the word. To this day, I am not afraid of heights. I looked down and then all of a sudden I slipped and bumped my head in this big metal spike that was pretruding upward from the swing set. I put a huge gash in my head as I began to fall but I caught myself from falling with my legs. I don`t know how but I did. So, here I am a 5 year old boy hanging upside down with blood dripping out of head and about 10 feet from the ground. I thought I was a goner at first....and to this day...I can never forget this incident. I was scared to death. So, I started screaming really loud. This little boy with thick brown hair upside down...turning red. My mother comes out and grabs me and starts rushing me to the hospital. My mother has someone call my dad and he meets us down there. I had to get about 5 or 6 stitches. The feeling of being helpless with blood driping all over face...it was a frightening experience for a 5 year old child.

How odd.. I bumped my head twice. When I was 3 and 5 y. o. Lots of blood. Stitches too. I still have this "sexy" scar on my forehead. But I do not even remember this bitter experience of mine unless I am reminded of it...Well, prolly the difference is that you were hanging upside down. That would have scared the hell out of me too.
