I'm hoping someone can help me find some information.

My baba is very ill and I need to move her to
Jacksonville, FL (where I live) Right now, she's in Miami, 350 miles away! She's willing to come here because she doesn't want to be alone.

I'd like to find as much information as possible on the Ukrainian churches, community, activites, if ANY in the Jacksonville area. I think it will
make her happy to be around people that speak her language and share her culture. I'm sad to say, I'm VERY Americanized and never learned Ukrainian or learned very much about the culture. I just know I love my baba very much and want to do what I can to make her happy.

Any information you can provide would be much
appreciated.

My parents live in Talahassee, FL and once in a while they go to this Russian food store in Jacksonville, called Gourmet House International Foods, Inc.

Phone: (904) 731-0602.

The Owners of this store are Russians and they are very nice people. You can find there some free newspapers with information about events that involve Russian or Ukrainian communities in the Jacksonville area.
