Who IS LillyNomad? (Second Time)

Folks, I originally started this, and I am going to post it again... not to be repetitive, but to return this thread to what I intended it to be: a celebration of someone special, who has taught us all so much.

Enjoy it again, ignore it, or reply newly... it is a free country. I speak for me.

After reading many posts by, to, and about her, it is my humble opinion that the person we know as "LillyNomad" appears as the embodiment of a young man's dreams. She is beautiful, mature, sexy, witty, naughty (enough -- but not too much), wise, and funny. She is strong enough to be a challenge, yet soft enough to make it worth the trouble. She is the ideal sister, friend, lover, mate, advocate, counselor... She is intelligent, but not so much so as to intimidate; she is cultured, but never a snob. She is a gourmet cook, yet can instruct the younger girls on the gentle art of allure and seduction. And, just once in a while, enough vulnerability shows through to awaken a man's chivalrous urges, and cause him to want to ride into battle with her hanky on his lance! In short, she is all things to all men, which is a tall order for a real woman. She is not just A woman, but she shows us all that is good and desirable in any woman.

At least, that's MY oh-so-humble opinion. Maybe that's why she makes young men drool and us older men palpitate.

PS: I have edited this a little. I know her better now than when I first posted this. Let me make it clear: she is not an icon or an ideal, she is a person I have come to respect and admire, and be proud to call "friend." She is Lilly.

Here is also a slightly edited version of my follow-up to that one, just before all aitch-ee-double-ell broke loose. Same purpose and stipulation -- enjoy, ignore, reply... your call.

I began this, so let me resume. The intent here is to examine what effect she has on these boards.

In the first place, she is FUN. She always has a slightly different twist on things, and usually there is humor involved. She is quick with a quip, and ready with a retort. She disarms with a simple line, a wink, and a reference to her "green eyes" -- lovely they must be indeed! (We haven't heard about these lately, L'il!)

Then, she is civil. She never resorts to name-calling, even under provocation, and her attacks, if they can be called such, are gentle and wry, never vicious and biting.

And, she is nice... even when she is naughty, somehow it reminds you that she is a lady. She is sometimes provocative, but never resorts to lewdness. Something about her just exudes sexiness, without ever a hint of impropriety.

In short, she raises the bar for the rest of us, setting the standard as to what is civilized discourse in a public forum.

She is what every man dreams of and every woman longs to be.

Sail on, L'il Nomad! We need you here.

Okay, guys.. I am going to leave this thread, except to read what YOU might write. I reposted to make a point and to cleanse the topic from the deterioration.

Now it's time to move on. It's embarassing Lilly! I'll be posting soon about the other wonderful ladies on these boards, whom I have also come to respect.
