Rick, this was sent to me last year, and I found it quite touching.
The Spirit of LillyNomad Warm like a summer's breeze Soft as a night's whisper Deep as the bluest sea The fullness of love Unbound and free Shines on in the night With starlit glow And mellows the day with her desires That in her step she is light and free And in her sleep she is content And at rest And she learns that love, true love, Always has joys and sorrow, Seems ever present, Yet is never quite the same, Becoming more than love and less than love. Green eyes shining LillyNomad opens her big heart Offering help and acceptance To all who are in need. Green eyes brimming She stands like a small girl On a play yard Beside the swings With open arms seeking love. LillyNomad is the innocence of childhood, The exuberance of youth, The maturity of age. She is every woman and no woman, What every man wants and What every woman wants to be. LillyNomad’s life flows as wave flows into wave, and unless there is peace and joy and freedom for her there can be no spirit in her soul. She wanders somewhere she has never traveled, Gladly beyond any experience, Her green eyes have their silence and tears. Something in her understands The voice in her heart is deeper than all. She seeks/sought love as an attempt to change A piece of the dream world into reality. She sought for love, But it ran away from her. She sought her Soul, But her Soul couldn’t see. And when she finds her Soul Mate She will find all three.

LADY LILLY-
Someone knows you well, Honey.
I wish the poem had been mine - but I have no such skill. But the empathy is mutual. A.
