Is this a new millenium?

Everybody says it is, but I believe that new millenium starts in a year 1, which is 2001, because first year of first millenium was year 01! There was no year 0, 0 is a last year of all millenium
(Ex: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 - 11 is a new one) so 2000 is not new millenium(My opinion).

You are right. The true millenium doesn't start untill the year 2001.
This is when everyone should worry, or celebrate. But, I guess it is all in the number. LOL

Why whould it even matter? Some people say that really millenium started 3 years ago.
My opinion is - bull****. I doesn't matter!!!!!!!!

I believe that it is the end of the old era and the beginning of the new one will be starting from 2001.

It simply doesn't matter. Nothing is changed whether you believe the new millenium begins this year or next. The facts are, this year has a 2 at the beginning. None others ever have. Christ was born in 4BC. Anybody who, pure of belief, waits until next December 31 to celebrate the new millenium will have already missed some good parties and fireworks shows.
