I think she would be very happy because Texas and Ukraine have so much in common.

Common climate, common social values and culture, even common language.

Also, they say "everything is big in Texas" and it so happens that a very common phrase throughout Europe and Asia is "everything is big in Ukraine".

So, based on all this commonessity I say, Go For It!!!

Additionally, anybody from Ukraine who comes to Texas would have to ENDURE a culture shock. The Ukraininas are much better educated than the Texans. Life in Texas is much faster without any social safety nets. Dog eats dog.

They should think twice.
