Hi,
Today the 14 member EU has told the mighty country of ZIM-BOB-WAY that it will not tolerate it's policies and will punish them with economic sanctions...lol The Zims have repeatedly told the EU to get a life and stay out of there politics. It seems the EU has it's feelings hurt and the Zim's are taking direct opposition to the BBC even setting foot in country. Most other networks are welcome but not BBC. Who knows maybe the EU will attack the Zim's and declare themselves warriors of modern times...lol Pick on somebody a bit bigger EU!!!! LOL..Euro-pride is hurt so they seek a scapegoat in a third world country to defeat. Starve the innocent people with sanctions as to protect the British banks...lol CameoJoe |

CameoJoe,
It is a pity that you are so ignorant to the situation down there in Zim and still go about making statements on the subject. Perhaps you should get the full picture first before passing stupid comments. Want a history lesson on Zim? Want to know how a crazy madman has all but destroyed his own country, murdered countless innocents that got in his way, and is supporting the economic downward spiral of Southern Africa? Wake up and get yourself informed before you spew forth such ridiculous outings. Go read about the Zim situation on http://www.iol.co.za Also, just read the one article below, perhaps it might educate you a little: Battlefield Harare as Mugabe's men run riot ------------------------------------------- February 18 2002 at 04:18PM Harare - Supporters of Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe stoned the headquarters of the opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) as they rampaged through the capital Harare on Monday. Opposition members who left the building were arrested by riot police massed in the city. The pro-Mugabe militants were seen shattering the ground floor windows of the MDC office building and the window of a nearby shop. The attack on the MDC headquarters came shortly after militants stormed the seat of city government, where MDC candidates were filing nomination papers for municipal elections, witnesses said. Police sealed off the Town House building, where several ambulances were seen leaving. Vendors at a market across the street said the attack sent throngs of people fleeing, only to be chased by pro-government militants brandishing sticks, shovels and bricks. Most vendors at the market quickly packed their wares and shut down. Crowds of others fled in various directions from baton-wielding riot police deployed on the city's main streets. Several groups of pro-government liberation war veterans and members of the ruling Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front (Zanu-PF) crisscrossed the city. A witness said militants also caused panic in a posh high-rise office building and shopping mall where MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai keeps an office. Several passers-by were beaten with sticks, the witness said. Police spokesperson Tarwireyi Tirivavi said he had no details on the attacks or their cause. It was unclear what sparked the militants' attacks in downtown Harare, but on Sunday a war veterans leader, Patrick Nyaruwata, had threatened to take action if the government took too long to prosecute Tsvangirai in an alleged plot to kill Mugabe. The attacks came during the increasingly tense run-up to the presidential election set for March 9-10, when Mugabe faces his toughest-ever challenge from Tsvangirai. Zimbabwe has suffered widespread political violence for almost two years, but it has mostly been confined to the countryside and the urban townships, rarely touching the capital. At least 19 people have died in politically motivated attacks since December 24, most of them MDC supporters. - Sapa-AFP |

Hi,
Duh!!! The point is me trying to make is da EU gonna talk or are they gonna do some fighting before the entire country is mutilated? Better yet are they gonna ask the United States to fight for em? Kinda reminds me of Yugo for some reason but then again it's typical Euro-trash politics without teeth. CameoJoe |
