Hi,

While the world watched in shock at the European judges decision to give the medal to the Russians in figure skating it once again rings true about the Euro-Trash in these olympics.
The French show once again they cannot be trusted to be fair and honest as the true champion Canada gets kicked in the arse with yet another European olympic sham.
Maybe the sport will be taken out of European judges hands as they cannot be trusted as they always try to maintain a status quo for the weakness they pretend is accurate in some way to be fair.
Any sport without judges finds fairness but subjective European judges have always for the most part been in the bag as far as honesty and integrity goes.
The reason the olympics are in Salt Lake is becausethe Europeans took so many bribes and had there kids accepted to many american schools. Europeans are easily bought in our times because there econmics are far less effective to endure anything legitimate.

Yes, those Evil Europeans....

Were you watching men's long program figure skating tonight?
Did you happen to notice the marks Australian Judge kept on giving the American skater, who in my opinion should have gotten Silver instead of the Bronze... If you're going to blame judges, then blame them all.

I for one don't question the judges decision I think it is unfair to challenge that outcome for bad or worse.
There have been many so called unfair outcomes and no doubt there will be more you just wait for Athens
Besides, my wife and I agree thought the Canadian pair came close it clearly did not deserve the gold medal.

Rest my case over and out

Judging in the figure-skating is like judging and refereeing in any sport, humans are asked for their opinion and they give it. As long as there is human interpretation there will be many that disagree with their decisions. Their decisions are never wholey objective and we have to live with that. They are all chosen to judge and ref based on their credentials, and the sport must live with the decisions made. Sour Grapes, that's how I see it. Canada was the next best thing to a local representative and of course the Americanized world must chant for the yanks, champions of freedom and fairness...not!!! Forget the medal tallies and just enjoy the circus, that's what I say.

Tecnical Merit??

Hi,

Canada- 3 judges graded there technical merist as:

5.8
5.8
5.8

Russia- The same three judges gave the same score to the Russians who made 4 technical errors.

This is why there is an investigation for this event as there is no possible way the Russians had equal technical merit and this is what caused victory for the Russians.

Canadian World Champions

Hi,

Defending world champions are still the champions in most everyone's book. They skated almost perfect and everyone knows they won.
Americans are sick that our neighbors have been treated so badly by the European judges. Fair treatment towards the Canadian pair is typical treatment from European deal-makers all throughout olympic history. No wonder the Russians have not lost in almost 40 years of competition.
The truth will come out on this situation and the entire skating federation will be cleaned up finally.

My honest congratulations go out to the wonderful Canadian pair who won the gold but instead the political minded Europeans stoled there night of happiness that can nver be returned to them.

The very best in Canada doesn't guarantee the best in the world, in any sport....Canadians had to learn this over and over again.
I loved watching the Canadian couple, but maby since I'm European and am used to the classic moves of European style figure skating, I did not feel that they were good enough for the Gold medal. They were attractive and technically sufficient, but they didn't have the break-a-neck speed of European skaters and looked wooden on the ice, not very artistic.
This "controvercy" will continue and continue, and next Winter Olympics, the judges will just give the Canadian pair GOLD so they shut up already and don't turn Olympics into Hollywood.
