Irinka,im of Ukranian descent, born in UK.I know what youre going to say,'im lucky to have had the opputunity to have been born over here',ive heard the horror stories about Ukraine,so i do consider myself very fortunate not to of had a hard life-unlike my grandparents. My mother was also born over here. But however,i think i would play submissive if it meant fleeing from poverty.

Really?

I'm proud of the fact that I was born and spent all of my childhood in Ukraine, now I live in Canada and I still visit and live in Ukraine a few months every year.
It's unfortunate that you've never seen your homeland.

Irinka, Hi,

I went to a Ukrainian club over Christmas with the NZbird. Not me first venture into one of these places. Wot I find amazin' is the lack of knowledge of present day Ukraine that abounds in these gaffs.

Young & Old, these dudes only seem to know their "homeland" from tales of the old dudes.

I grew up with a load of old Serbs, but me understandin' of the Balkans come from beenin' there and not mis-understandin's gained from tales of yore.

Poverty & hardship is everywhere ask the Maoris in South Auckland, but it's not ness' to whore youself to get out of it.

I'll be in Ukraine at the beginnin' of Feb, life is hard for all Ukrainians, but boy do they have prospects.

Love the NZman

Hmmm...

Hi,

I just read that the EU was gonna attack Iran and were looking to find some weapons as well as an army to do the job. It's kinda like they want to create a military or something. Hope Iran does not attack first cause they would roll through Europe.

NZman,
if youre implying that i dont know s***about Ukraine because ive never been there, prehaps its the horror stories of my friends who visit several times a year that have traumatised me!
Oh and remind me,if i ever want to know about the Ukraine, all i need to do is ask you!
