I have been suffering from intense jet lag for 5 days now... It's driving me insane! I wake up at 4:00 a.m. and feel like it's already 12:00 noon. I tried to stay awake longer before going to bed at night, sometimes till 2:00 a.m., but even after torturing myself to wait untill that hour, I still wake up at 4:00 a.m.!! Grrrr I have absolutely no appetite unless I smell meat and I'm really tired all day
I don't mean to whine about it, but does anyone here have any similar jet lag experience? How long does it last?

hello
Irinka,
Studies have shown that in most cases jet lag goes away but for some people it has been verified to last a lifetime..lol My mother is a good example of having jet lag for over six months for no known reason explainable to her. Like most things that ail you excercise has been proven to put you to sleep. studies show that no matter how tired or frisky you are before bedtime it is almost guaranteed that exercise before bedtime with aid you in rapidy falling asleep.
