American men in Odessa

I have had the most frustrating time trying to be patient and mind my own business when I saw what the American men were doing in my hotel when I was in Odessa. Please note, I'm aware that not every American man who comes to Odessa to find himself a wife is a piece of crap, but here's what I saw with my own eyes.
These men come to Odessa in groups or alone, have a translator with them, usually a beautiful female, they look through catalogues of photos and chose which woman to go on a date with at which time of their trip..I knew about all this before, so I wasn't surprised. But I was surprised when I saw them picking up barely 13 year-old girls, bringing in hordes of prostitutes into our hotel, swearing and shouting at their own translators and trying to force them into sex. I can not believe I actually saw this, since I always mind my own business, but it was all out in the open and made very obvious. Since I speak Russian, I heard the girls who clean hotel rooms say that they are afraid of getting raped by these American men, they behave themselves like uncivilized monkeys, andthey are sure that they can get away with absolutely anything because they throw their American dollars around. I remember when I was downstairs having my dinner in the hotel bar, one of these Americans sat right beside me, thinking that I was one of the locals..he tried to talk to me in his broken Russian and actually asked me if I'm here to "work", then he actually had the balls to put his arm around my waist! Boy, did I let him know!!! Grrrrrr!!! These men have absolutely no respect for women, even treat the hotel's bartenders like they're dirt!
I'm Canadian and I live in Toronto, I do not hate American men, but from what I saw, I have a hard time not to discriminate.

i saw the worst from those american . but what u can do.since they are expolre philpines ,thailand with thier dollars.......... i knew that some of americans are good but the younge generation is doing bad things.......... if no religion control humanity we can see the worst next decay........ kaz.

Wot is most funny is they come to use & when they gets abused they is postin' cry-baby letters in personals.

It's true, they whine and complain how horrible Ukrainian women are, how everyone wanted to take advantage of them..
These were not young men that I saw, they were mostly in their fifties and sixties, asking for little beautiful girls!

NZman,Odessa is most beautiful in May, all the fruit, acasia, and chestnut trees are in bloom, the city smells like the gentlest perfume in the world! The are rebuilding the downtown area completely, everything is being painted and restored...and even the asphalt is being changed to these beautifully designed and fitted tiles, so everything is shining! The restauration of the city is progressing slow, but in about 5 years, Odessa will be the most beautiful city in Europe, very similar to Vienna in architecture and culture. I have so many things to tell, but I do not think that I can summ it all up. I'm just very happy that I went and can't wait to go back next Summer!

I has seen them in Slovenia they do the same thing and get the same results. I has always thought they is scum, but when they tell their cry-baby tales, they is very funny scum.

I is going to Ukraine shortly through work, but I has an invite to my company's 10th anniversary of independence bash in August, as the drink is totally free I is probably goin' to get meself along. Not a bad opportunity to see Odessa me thinks. Me boss is always tellin' me about the bars, the night life & of course the excellent Ukrainian culture there.

I is glad you had a good time, I intend to have a good time meself if I gets there. Any recommendations for a good bar Can you get all the Ukrainian beers there
