Back some years ago when this was a new place it was interesting to note how simple and less confusing it was.
The boards were more simplified and there were less hits on the site.
Stas was in high school planning to blow up the school and Lily was fighting the old Hungarian along with other players such as John and the preacher.
The chat room lit up on Stas's completion and it was an interesting time of communication between people.
Later more hits were made to the site and more money was made. People moved from Canada to Cinncinati and other such places.
In all that time and all the changes it still seems the same in that the players are the same to a large degree.

I'm sure you are right weaver in some ways but in "the day" I referred to all things happened in a peculiar way.
To say this is not accurate information then you are wrong as I was there and other places as well. I refer you to Lilly herself and she may or may not agree to the facts in question here but I have no doubt.
Yes old Bill was there as he still is and they had a war of sorts to say the least. All members ran out on the place because they were sick of it. A bit of romance took place in a perilous time and more than just a spoonful of happenings happened.

Sometimes it's very clear that VCI is a scam of all sorts. The more hits then the more money etc... The more arguments the more hits...etc..lol
I suppose to have created the religious section a few years ago it made it easy to get the hits and the arguments...lol
Of course I would have to consult the resident weaver as to my guess here since he has been around so long...lol

Let it not be my word that says nay to your rememberances of things past. I too recall a time of a horrible scene between Miss Lily and Master Bill, and it did, indeed, seem to go on and on and on and on ad nauseam. But those were the days when I was but a reader, and not a reader/poster.

The happenings that happened were most juice-filled, but one must be a friend of the subtle ethos to enjoy in full the back-stabbings, the wily deceptions, the soaring insults, and the utterly profound (yet stupid) lies. Then the raging hatred. Oh how it did/does burn. I still can see that fiery holocaust upon yonder horizon. Oh but it was a time of wonder and awe. Were we not all aghast at what fate awaited the dear Miss Lil, and that dastardly Master Bil?

It was so tummy-tightening tumultuous that it emptied the house, but only of the faint-o-heart. Those of stout heart like myself remained, awaiting the sure hand of destiny to claim two poor things who just couldn't find their way to Grandma's house.

I too remained and watched as things became very empty and looked like a town of the dead. I think there was no posts for 24 hours in the bginning or maybe 3 posts in 36 hours.
Lilly was off to roam " to know me is to love me" and Bill was guarding the sandbox so to speak.
I see now that thay are back and on speaking terms. This in itself is a wonderful thing considering the past and all it had to do with.

All of the above sounds like a prelude to a sad announcement. I hope that I am wrong.

I have no grudge against anybody who makes money. If Virtual Countries did not, it is their own fault. Creativity should not be confused with empty, boring, personal laundry.

I will miss Ukraine.com, if one day it is no longer there.
The friendships that were built here, will go on. To those whom I might have offended, I want to use this oppertunity to say, that I am very sorry.

In the meantime if Management knows of something that we could do to help, let us hear from them.

I hate not knowing what is going on.
