hi to all tonight DUTCH congress will MAY allow killing under the name of mercy?? .........IT IS A MURDER !!!!WHAT A SHAME demogracy??.... ON HUMANITY? why they don't give the patient the chance... if they are unable to treat the patient then why they are in hurry to kill....... to me it is a murder... i don't like it ....kaz..

Kaz, it seems like when they have to make this decision, the patient already has no chanses! It's not like he has one! In addition, as far as I understand, the above act takes place only when the patient suggests it! Am I right?

It's just a little wierd to think about doctor killing. We have a different assosiation with this profession...

Kaz, some people are terminally ill and live in CONSTANT physical and emotional pain, they know that they have absolutely no chances to survive and simply are waiting for the end. If I was in such a position, I would like to have a choice to end my suffering and find peace. That's just how I personally see it, I do not see the point of driving myself crazy waiting for death and wasting valuable tax-payers' money. Not everyone feels the same and I respect that, but since this physical body belongs to me, I should be allowed to do as I like. I hope that one day Canadian government approves this action.
This is my opinion, I do not expect you to feel the same.
