Moral?Who cares if it's moral. It's a free world and if a couple of shirt lifters want to tie the knot then what concern should it be to anybody but them? There are more important issues in the world than this.

I personally think that it's a little nutty! I guess I'm old fashioned!

By the way, who gets to be a "bride" and wear a white gown? or do they just say...I pronounce you a husband and...eh...a husband ?

P.S. Do not know much about gay marriages

Kaz, i don't know why you are so suprised, here in San francisco, CAlifornia USA. it has been going on for a while.

It might be against my personal beliefs but if they already living together, why not allow 'em to get married.

The significant issue of such an adverse legal ruling goes to the heart of ethical behavior within a society. Whether or not it is morally right or wrong, permissible or not, is rightly the domain of the whole people and not the exclusive property of the elected representatives. The social conception of what is right and what is wrong ought to be determined by the operating conscience of the people at large since it is they who are most directly affected and effected by acts that do not conform to the acceptable model of personal conduct. We all must share in the elemental meanings of what becomes a lawful obligation upon us, but we don't need to consider it right or beneficial. What is the practical use of such a union? In what way can it possibly benefit society?
