New Round of Blood-letting

It is being reported that the Central Asian states of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are in for another wave of blood-letting by Islamic fundamentalists who are crossing the borders of those states from hiding places in Tajikistan into Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. The rebels, who are members of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, are violently opposed to Uzbek President Islam Karimov, and have stated that they intend to see Uzbekistan (and all of Central Asia) under Islamic sharia law. Is Russia in for even more violence which just might spill over into Ukraine?

Your ignorance still amazes me. War is the last form of negotiation. The rebels don't have a chance. Putin has signed a pact with India that protects his flank, now he can concentrate some real fire power on the brainless pest.

Putin is addressing the needs of the terrorists, murderers, gangsters and drug smugglers calling themselves freedom fighters. He understands perfectly what their needs are and he will deliver it in full as soon as he can bring the military up to snuff.
