I had listen a News in CNN which was about hackers that hacked 100s of credit card information from the internet and most of those hackers are from ukrine ....
It is great ..It tells that people of Ukrine are talented. I am also from computer science profession ... and in usa...

I just want to know how is computer scinece industry in Ukrine. People are getting good jobs in computer scinece or ...

Well, there are sertainly some talanted hackers in Ukraine!
About the jobs for computer programmers in Ukraine...Yes, there are some. Though, it also seems like a whole bunch of computer programers is trying to find jobs abroad in the US, Germany, etc...
I believe that your Ukrainian friend also left Ukraine on one of work visas! Though, I might be wrong.

Hi,

There is a slow but constant flow of IT centred job to all of Eastern Europe. Ukraine is one of the countries benefiting, but not at the rate of Poland or Czech. My company is now doing a small amount of it's development in Ukraine and we have aspirations to enlarge it.

The reasons for this (the move east) are unfortunately a large pool of skilled and cheep labour. (My company pays Ukrainians the same as Polls, which is very unusual) It doesn't make sense to employ say one German for 50000USD when you can employ 3 people of the same ability for that amount of money. With the exception of defence technologies a lot of software development and production will move east.
