You have a point.

Though, I was under impression that this discussion started with more what forums do you go to, in a way that sounds more like what books do you read or what movies do you like?
Can you also call a discussion of yesterday's Hollywood movie between members an advertisisng? or if a foreign tourist asks for an advise where to go to eat in Kiev and I tell a place I personally like an advertising as well? Then where is a place in human conversations left for sharing personal experiences?

I'm not a marketing director, so I am not in the position to argue with you. I'm just a person, who is exposed to a large number of advertising in many aspects of our modern life. Though, my jujment is rather subjective, and if I've done a mistake in jugment in this case I have to appologise.

But please, explain me the difference.

Arrow Well off topic

Advertising.
Main Entry: ad·ver·tise
Pronunciation: 'ad-v&r-"tIz
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): -tised; -tis·ing
Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French advertiss-, stem of advertir
Date: 15th century
transitive senses
1 : to make something known to : NOTIFY
2 a : to make publicly and generally known <advertising their readiness to make concessions>
b : to announce publicly especially by a printed notice or a broadcast
c : to call public attention to especially by emphasizing desirable qualities so as to arouse a desire to buy or patronize : PROMOTE

A simple definition of advertising.

Thereby any post containing another web-site is advertising, as is posting the address of the UCC. I have advertised, made known through my post, the address of the UCC. Therefore, the rules of the forum to quote Lina have been broken.

If advertising is to be banned then the rule must apply to the letter and what a tedious site this will be.

Vlas

Sorry Sonia, I did not delete your message. I have seen your advertizement many times, just seemed like too much.
"Adoption in Ukraine" hit a personal nerve..

Thank you Steve.

I agree with Irinka, but my reaction was the same. I had a feeling of being spamed

HARASS

Question

hello guys! well, i'm not sure whether you can actually help me or not, but i'll ask you a question, a difficult one. I just saw the title of this post (Uranian-Canadian comminity) and i thought that maybe you could at least suggest something.
Right now I'm finishing an international school and in a few months i'm sure to get an International Baccalaureat Diploma. Recently i have been offered an admission in Trent University (Ontario, Canada).
Unfortunately, both of my parents are school teachrs in Ukraine and they can not finance my education, not at all. Right now i'm looking for any kind of Can-Ukr organizations or funds that could possibly help me to pay for my future education. So, this is my question- whom should contact (if you know) or how can i possibly get a scholarship? Are there any chances with a Diaspora?
I'm very keen to continue my education in Canada! So please, if you know something of this kind, tell me, i would be very grateful.
thanks in advance,
Ania
