I would really love some help!
I visit many Ukrainian and Russian websites and they usually have People Search which I really need to use, but in order for me to be able to find anything, I require a Cyrillic keyboard. I need to be able to type in Russian or Ukrainian. I have Windows 2000.

Thanx in advance

Irinka

hi Irinka,
try http://www.yandex.ru- go down a page a bit and find 'russkaya klaviatura'.
i can also send you a file, which can help writing in cyrillics. though i don't know, whether it will work or not. see my attachement.
regards,
ania

or look for KDwin95.exe, which is a keyboard driver for Windows (95, 98, 2000, NT). Helps a lot.

Talking Re: Cyrillic Alphabet

I have ORFO 98 and ParaWin 2000, as well as what's packaged with Windows 98. I still have problems on some Ukrainian sites, ie. T. Shevchenko University in Kyiv.

I guess there is no "standard" that everyone abides by.

Best Regards,

Windows 2000 is already international comatible.

If you have a cyrillic keboard then you need to go to the contol pannel and select keboard to configure/add this to your configuration.

Microsft word and the like should already have installed cyrillic fonts.

I have no trouble in cutting and pasting cyrillic fonts sent to me in an email and pasting them into a web translator. Be careful to ensure that any software you install is Windows 2000 ready.

See www.microsoft.com for more information

A site to buy what you need ...

This site sells all the tings you might need including Tranlarors and fonts. Although windows 2000 does use unicode.
