Muslims often state that they respect other religions.So perhaps someone could inform me what purpose was supposed to be achieved by the destruction of two Buddhist statues in Afghanistan.These massive statues have stood for hundreds of years and if the taliban government wants recognition from the west such barbaric acts of wanton destruction are not the way to achieve it.

It isn't my intention to portray Islam in a bad light.The actions of the Talibann were condemned by Islamic as well as western nations.It is my intention to point out the dangers of religious fundamentalism.Muslims preach religious tolerance yet insist that Islam is the only true religion.Mohammed stated that'none of you is a believer until you love for your neighbour what you love for yourself'.Many muslims could benefit from discarding some of their dogma and following this advice.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion Kaz. I don't think all the Arabs are terrorists but they are more likely to blow up things more than any other ethnic group. Look at Munich, the muslims killed off the whole Israeli team. I don't think you can justify murder.

Anyways I think that Arab nations are injust and have practically no human rights.
