1. In 1977 my Father was in a New York night-club and (allegedly) spent several minutes drooling over the "beaver" of the knicker-less wife of the Canadian Prime Minister.
Other than knowing Pierre Trudeau's attractive ex-wife enjoyed giving "it" a public airing, I have no knowledge of canadian politics.

2. I've never been a Member or Supporter of the SWP.
All I know about them is that they claimed to be independant of 'Moscow' whilst slavishly towing-the-line on EVERY aspect of policy - and - they always 'bottled it' when confronted by the NF
