Hello Members!

I am the new Administrator for Ukraine.com. In the next few months, I hope to appoint a few Moderators to help out the site a bit. StasUA is doing a fine job; however, there are many forums still in need of a Moderator's presence.

Why do we need Moderators?

Moderators help generate new discussions while keeping the current discussions on topic. They will have the ability to delete "spam" and edit any posts containing vulgar or hateful language. Ukraine.com does have an Acceptable Use Policy which all members agree to upon registration. Moderators simply help enforce those policies.

If you would like to apply to be a Moderator or would like to suggest a fair, tolerant member that would make a good Moderator, then please contact me, boards@ukraine.com. Or, click on the Moderator tab in any of the Community pages.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Dear Admin,

During the last couple of weeks my 'friends' on this site have accused me of the following:

* Mental instability.
* Performing Sodomy & Fallatio with/on other men.
* Complicity in the murder of Armenian christians (49 years before I was even born).
* Fascism
and - most disgustingly of all:
being a fan of Andrew Lloyd-Webber's musicals !!!!!

If "vulgar & hateful language" actually was banned, we wouldn't have much to say to each other.

S.B.

To Admin.
If a new member is Moderator it will be very bad.
We don't know him. How can you consider his offer?

Thanks Irena your making me feel very welcome! If oyu don't trust my moderating skills go to http://www.forumco.com/j-23 and ask anyone on how J-23 (Me)moderates! You can read some of the things! I'm also the Administrator and Moderator at least I have the biggest say in that. Because the Admin and Mod official users are under my control but they are a group of my friends diciding on questions! If I'm not a good mod you can always fire me!

Irena,

if this guy wants to be the new 'Sheriff'; why not ??

of course "we don't know him" but that doesn't matter.
This is THE INTERNET, not a cosy little "members only" club.

Would you rather have someone you DID know??

Nonson? LippyChick? Steve V? ME???

It'd be like putting a shark in charge of a swimming pool.

S.B.
