Getting a job in Ukraine

Me and my boyfriend are probably going to move to Ukraine. He's a Russian citizen and according to him it's horrible to live as a Russian citizen in the western part of Ukraine because they so dislike Russia and Russians. Also that it's totally impossible for him to find a job in Ukraine that will hire him. But is it like this or is it just his personal opinion?

Personal opinion with little basis in reality. His job skills andd weither he is needed is another matter. Personal safety isn't an issue either as you mentioned on another forum.

We've now discussed it more and he say's he won't get a working permit due to the new rules (see this link; New Ukrainian Work Permit Procedure for Foreigners) and the longer process than it was before. But is it totally impossible for him?

Nothing is impossible except breathing after you're dead. From your posts he doesn't sound very interested in moving.
