Hi Dobko, it is so nice from you to let me know that you are in my country! I do hope you will visit my city one day as well. Wishing you and your family a lot of the best impressions. At the moment we have a period of Spanish climate here with temperatures well over 30 deg. Celcius.

It is beautiful. What can I say....... I feel so at home here it's just amazing.

The drivers are a little crazy over here, but I seem to be fitting in there as well.

On our next visit we will definitly come your way (visit or move). There is so much more I want to see here.

Dobko, I am glad that you are so enthusiastic about your staying here. I believe you wear rose-coloured glasses because of your new love. It is so inspiring to see someone radiating so strongly with optimism. You must have noticed that Poland is still poor when compared to Canada. On the other side, Poland has strong points as a country which is capable to embrace modern European approach while preserving traditional family values. Surprisingly, Poles were able to soften communism instead of being softened by communism themsleves.
At the moment, the political temperature in Poland is still high after the presidential elections. The frustrated religious zealots try their strength in the streets of Warsaw. They use the Cross as a tool for demonstrating their vox populi as a VOX DEI. It does not look nice and a new president has to be careful to avoid their provocation.
Happily, politics has a limited influence on our present life and there is a middle of sweet holiday time in the country at the moment.
Best wishes for you and your family, I believe that next time you extend you trip to Warsaw as well.

I would really like to be involved with YWAM in Poland and the church in Glogow. I felt very welcome by almost everyone that I met. The biggest attraction for me is the place, people, culture and history.. It's understandable that there are problems there like anywhere else but I just felt at home and really miss being there. I will return as soon as I can.

Do you know anything about immigration there? I believe it shouldn't be a problem because I'm married to a Polish citizen.

Yes, I would love to come to Warsaw.
