Ukrainian Female Scammers on Internet...
I was researching something completely different and came across this site that lists 1,310 women
in Ukraine (by both given and surname), who are suspected of being scammers. Thought it might be of interest to some of our members. Uaprofiler - Weekly REVIEWS at Uaprofiler board |

There was an article in the paper last week about some kind of dating thing in Odessa . I did not read it all but some of the members on here might be interested, the bit I did read it seemed expensive. Personaly I think its to much like a Market. You get up in the morning and think Ooo I think I will get married let me scan the internet shop windows and see whats on offer. I know its a modern thing and maybe I am old fashioned so I am not criticising folk who do it. I am sure that many have found a happy marriage and nice one for that. Be interesting to find out the figures of breakup and success say over a 5 year period though. Anyway I have found a link to the article so here you are . all the best

Odessa is the internet bride capital of the world.

I met my Russian/Ukrainian wife on the internet over 6 years ago and we are still married and VERY happy so yes there are scammers out there(not all Ukrainian) so my advice is to be sensible and do some homework before even registering with a dating site.. scammers only exist because of peoples` stupidity. and scams are world wide and not just on the internet... a very good motto for most scams is.. "if it seems too good to be true then it probably is!!!

Wake up to reality
Nick and Kathy, you are both correct. If some guy is just looking for a trophy wife, give it up! You will be scammed or have your heart broken. Men need to be realistic as to what they are looking for and why, as do the women. Relationships take time to develop. If she tells you she loves you and can't wait to marry you, watch out! Especially if it is in the first 3-4 letters. I have had numerous women make contact with me that were quite obviously scammers. I returned the messages to test them. Sure enough, scam! Come on guys, what 25 year old wants a 52 year old? NONE! 10 to 12 year difference max!
I am now going to Ukraine after several months of correspondence with one woman. It we "click", and I believe we will, that is great! If we do not, I will have a good time in a country I have never been to. The thing is, you must go into this with "eyes wide open" and the right intentions, to meet someone that may be the soul mate you have been searching for, not a "trophy". Also guys, do your homework. I have spent untold hours reading about Ukraine history and culture, as well as the internet dating scams and dating sites. Read and learn before you get burned! |

I agree with you, the reason behind it, because she would be your beloved partner forever, not just a date. |
