I love art. I love to draw whenever I have time. Man`s need to reflect reality in the natural form or his own form in is mind is universal. Who are some of your favorite artist and what are some of your favorite pieces of work? I like Michelangelo and DeVinci. I like Michelangelo`s David, S. Chapel, and his painting of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus. I like DeVince because not only was he a great artist, he was a great scientist and inventor. Ok, your turn.

I love The Persistence of Memory (?) by Dali. I think it is great. There's something in it that I can not fully understand. But I keep thinking. I will get there some time. The deformed clock faces on the tree are like a rwisted mind. Clarity of forms in the overall obsurity. Distorted images. Distorted images in your mind. It tells so much but I still do not know the whole story.
Botticelli, The Birth of Venus. I think I just like the Venus. THough the Venus without the surroundings there will be absolutely nothing. But the picture as a whole conveys a message. Purity. Innocence. And ultimate beauty. You understand that Venus us beautiful not from HER image, but from the expression on the angels' faces. That's how I see it through my twisted mind. |

I agree on your perspective about those paintings. Twisted....No!!! Not at all! I think you are a very interesting person ...really. I have read most of your responces and thanks for noticing my postings in the personals. Ofcoarse, I feel that way from time to time but I simply try to focus on things outside of me and not on problems that I can solve right away. I think you are a very consciencous person by way of observation of your personality and thanks for responding to many of my postings and recognizing some of my others. You are indeed a very sweet person. May I say I try not to waste any time with unproductive activities and I have a lot of energy ...so I do not have as much time on my hands as you may think....I don`t even have my own computer. I guess I think a lot and a forum like this is important to me because I really enjoy observing the different personalities and perspectives of others. I really enjoyed reading your perspectives and I have to tell you a secret, which will no longer be a secret to anyone here, but I tried to commit suicide once and I have thought about it many times. Sometimes I become full of dispare and I loose hope in life when everything seems to be crashing down around you. I try to keep myself busy and focused outside myself but sometimes it is very hard and the feelings of depression can creep up on you at any time. I must say that I already care about a great deal from what I know about you and I already appreciate meeting you in this discussion room. Maybe I am I am too emotional for a guy but that`s me...and I see nothing wrong with being sentimental. Thanks for everything you have said to me since you have joined this discussion board....Friends, Steve

Yes...architecture! Love it! I do not know very much about present day architecture but I do like looking at it. I love Greek architecture with their columns, Roman architecture, ancient Hindu(Indian architecutre),Japanese architecture, Szechly architecture(They are related to Hungarians but live in the Transylvania area in Romania ,etc...I guess I just love architecture. I like the architecture in Florence, ITaly,,Vienna...Russian orthodox...I think architecture is a reflection of the thinking, the spirit of the people in that area. The castles of medevil France and Germany,etc...The Greeks could not grasp the concept of infinity to their the tops of their buildings are flat. Whereas, the christian archeture has upward angular projections on top of their architectures. It is quite interesting indeed. If I sit at this computer to much longer I will end up writing a book. Got to go! YEs...fascinating topic.More later!...
