Question

Hello All,

I'm considering a move to Nikolaev. Has anyone been there? I have a friend who recommends it, but I want to get additional feedback. I have the possibility to work at the Language Academy as an English teacher, or at a local NGO. I live fairly simply, but would like to know if I would be able to survive comfortably on ~ $400 per month, while saving some for additional travel. Is Nikolaev a good place? Will I have enough money? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi, I have a friend in Nikolaev whom I'm getting English lesson for, via an agency. If you make the move let's talk, as I can probably suppliment your income.
Email me via the link on my profile.

I'll be there in July

Hi Bill,

I'm planning on making the move in July. If you know of people who need English lessons, please let me know. I'm a fairly experienced English teacher, having taught in the Kyrgyz Republic through the Peace Corps.

Regards,

Hi Ailey-ejeke.

Thanks for the reply.
Please contact me, I'm currently paying an agency in Nikolaev
for lessons on a monthly basis, and if you are
interested in it, I'm sure we can work
out a deal. I'm talking six months or more of lessons,
and I hope to be in Nikolaev myself by September,
which will require some (paid) arrangement of
lodging, etc.

My mail via this forum works now, or try
renospamparks(at)yahoo with the appropriate suffix added,
and the spam removed.

Thanks
Bill
