Hi, My wife and I (in our mid-40's) are planning on moving to Crimea in the next twelve months. We have a ten-year-old son. Some quick background: My wife and I lived and worked in Moscow for about three years (in the mid-1990's). My job involved major travel throughout the former USSR, and I was able to visit and stay in Crimea four or five times (Yalta, Sevastopol). Needless to say, I fell in love with the place. Now, we are looking to move there semi-permanently. I speak Russian fluently (I dare to say at "near native" level), my wife has functional knowledge of Russian, and our son does not speak Russian.
We plan to live on an an income of about $3000 USD/mo.
I would be interested to hear your comments and suggestions.
Thanks!
