Hello,
I never been to Kiev (or Ukraine for that matter) but if I want to study there, what places would you recommend? Are there some areas that are not that safe, and less popular for a 22years old girl (who doesn't speak the language) to live in? What are the names of the more safe places? Would it be a good idea to rent an apartment close to Kreshchatik Street (that's downtown, right?)? I like it to be close to everything but in a quiet and nice area. Thanks for the help! |

Hello!
Quote:
In the matter of "safety", please let me suggest you to consider also some cultural issues. My reason to write this is that I have some knowledge about both East adn West Europe (including Sweden). Other places you should ask your question are: http://www.brama.com/travel/travelboard.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/skruv/ Swedish forum for Russia and Ukraine. Good luck!
