Buying an Appartment in Kyiev

Hello all, I am interested in buying an appartment in Kyiev, I am an Australian and have 2 houses here and i ahve looked at buying overseas. As i really like Ukraine it was on the top of the list and i am a little suprised It seems i can buy a renovated appartment in kyiev 2 bed room and western standard living for under 95,000USD and then i can rent this appartment again for $700+ per month. Now i have done the math and having had real estate experience here in australia, i am thinking this is too good to be true. Has anyone else brought property in Ukraine and rented it out on a perminate basis?? and what is your advice with this experince??

There are lots of market opportunities here, and most people who have $95,000 to buy an apartment would not consider doing it to put it on the short-term market. there are business opportunites with better return that this. I can't quote you the exact numbers but the ones you've given are close to true. but you have to discount the risk...
