Relocation to Ukraine

I am intended to move permanently to Ukraine (Odessa). I am interested to find out the living cost there per year, for a reasonable life, according to ukrainian standards. I will be grateful if someone gives to me some infos

varies widely. Say, you rent a room for $70 per month and eat basic low quality food for $50 per month plus public transport some $10 per month or even less. Will it be ok with you?
OR you rent a flat for $600-700 go out to restaurant and concerts and live wit ha girl-friend and support her generously. Then it'll be acouple of thousands. Recently I met one girl who advertises herself on the Internet. Always in very expensive clothes. She said to me: "I do it on purpose to show men that I'm an expensive woman. SO they have to consider first if they can afford me".

Thank you for your answer. I am interested to live a normal life and not to have expensives apartments and girls.
In my last visit in Odessa before some years I've got an idea about the life there. Also I found in internet some information. But I was not sure about the real situation there. As I am too young to leave my job and to be retired, I have to check my incomes to be safe, knowing that it is not possible to find job there (and I am not interested to do that).

Hi Irene :-)

I'll be arriving to living Odessa next week . . . long-term. Well, I'd like a one bedroom flat or one bedroom with a small office or two bedroom apartment, modern with washing machine, cable or satellite TV, internet connection etc., very near the Center. Could you estimate what I might expect to pay? Is there any way to avoid paying the 50 per cent fee to real estate companies?
