Hi,
I will also be driving from England to Ukraine withint he next few weeks. The Ukraine embassy informed me that all I need is the following: 1. Proof of ownership (normal log sheet) NOT a photocopy 2. Insurance certificate + Green card for insurance They tell me thats all I need. However, I am not sure how long you can keep it in Ukraine, some people on here say 3 months. Hope this helps. It would appear there are NO forms to complete before you go. GB |

I also have a right had driving car. I think you drove left hand side driving cars only, I told you one thing there is no problem in right hand driving car if you know how to drive. You can keep it very long in Ukrain if you have a international driving licence(IDP) and green card.. You can drive freely in Ukrain if you have IDP. Because the rules and regulations of Ukrain are very hard. So be carefull my friend. Best of Luck!

I have thought about the same thing. Have a lot of bags and things to move so I thought about packing everything in to my car, drive over see a few things on the way instead of throwing my money at the airlines for excess luggage. I am not too concerned about the regulations or police in terms of having a foreign car over there because either way you probably get away with it. What would concern me more is the way Ukrainians drive. I don't think i could see myself safely driving a left hand drive car over there nevermind a right hand car.......
