Hi everyone, ricknorth, Irinka, MidwayDave and all the people who were involved in discussing my topic 1,5 year ago. I couldn't log in under my old nickname Princessalla, as my old email address doesn't exist anymore, so I created new profile.
Here is what happened to me after I stopped visiting Ukraine.com: I got married to the guy, he kept on drinking, changing jobs, bul****ting me about my INS documents he never filed. I quit working in Victoria's Secret, stayed at home and was hoping he would finally get my status sorted out so I could go and visit my family and friends. Never happened. I don't know for how much longer I would stay there if my dad didn't die in August last year. My mom called me to say that they were on their way to Crimea when he stopped the car, got out and 5 minutes later she found him dead. I was devastated. My husband's mom got me a plane ticket and I flew back home. I made it just in time to be there for the funeral. The world stopped spinning. I blamed everything on my husband. I hated him. Now I realise it was not his fault, but he was a good target at that time. Once again I felt free to say what I want, to do what I want, to hang out with whoever I want, to be back HOME. I think my dad saved me in a way. I know he is somewhere out there and that I will meet him either in this life, or in next life or somewhere in between. I am not coming back to America. I have a British boyfriend now. He is my angel. Someone said that you have to meet wrong people along the way, so that when you meet a right person, you will know how to appretiate him. I miss California. I wish my husband was diferrent person and didn't drink. I wish my dad was still alive. But it's as good as it gets, isn't it? Meanwhile, I am grateful to everyone who took part it that long time ago discussion. I think I just needed someone to share my thoughts and feelings with. I am in a process of becoming a professional singer now, I write my own songs, I've recorded three of them now and looking for a recording deal in UK at the moment. If you ever see a CD by Viviene, it will be worth listening to. Hope to hear from you soon. Alla You can read my story in this forum below, " I am Ukrainian, currently living in America" |

Alla...
Alla, I read your story and I felt sorry for you.
Feeling sorry is probably a bad phrasing, let's say it is compassion... Some people say that God never gives a burden impossible for a person to carry. Just a bit less... Just on the edge. He does that that to make our character stronger, so that we through fire and burn off what is not needed to us in future., so that we learn our lessons. Cheer up! After a lesson he always gives reward! Like your angel British Boyfriend! ![]() Something resembling to your story happened to me, maybe to all of us. It served only for GOOD in the end ![]() I guess princessas learn extra-royal lessons with extra royal reward afterwards! ![]() My best wishes to the two of you!

Vivienne- that is a name worth remembering, but if you have decided to never come back to America, there is very little chance that your music will reach our ears
![]() I will be in London this July, I'll look buy your CD if it is available . Best of luck to both you :-) |
