Hello Irina
I have send a mail to embukr@tornado.be and missionofukrainetoeu@unicall.be

Both aren’t correct and I get a messenger delivery failure. No worry I found the mail address from the Ukraine embassy in Brussels. embassy@ukraine.be But to be sure I will send a letter to the embassy as well and maybe send them a fax also.

bye
Gerd

Gerd,

on the internet site of the Ambassy you can find a lot of information in french - no dutch about visas.

http://www.ukraine.be

There is somebody who speaks very good dutch at the Ambassy still you have to ask after him. Best thing is to phone before going and to ask when to person will be in the office.

Be aware that the only thing you have to do when you arrive in ukraine - you have to register yourself as you will be in the country for a long time.

If you need help mail me - I live in belgium
hanjabe@yahoo.com
bye
Hanja

Hello Hanja,

When I visited Ukraine the last time I found out a few things. This is what they told me: If you are staying longer then 3 months you have to register at Ovir. When we asked about how I could stay longer nobody was willing to answer us in Simferopol Ovir. I think it was ovir because we were already at a few places. It was like I was the enemy and from this point nobody talked with us anymore. We were already waiting for a few hours, so we gave it a rest and gave up.

Sunday, A friend translated a letter into French and I send it to the embassy by mail and today also by fax.

And now it is waiting, and hoping for a good and positive answer or something that will help me get on the right track.
I heard that it is possible (I don’t know in Ukraine) to get a extension on your visa.
So I’m still looking and searching for more information about this all.
Ps, next time i will phone the embassy and ask for this person :-)thanks for the info
bye

A business visa.

Someone said to me that I should apply for a business visa. Does anyone know a company who can give me an invitation and help me with this? I would pay all the necessary things and costs.

Hello all,

I have spend a hour in the embassy of Ukraine in Belgium today.

This is what I found out.

It is possible to get a private visa for 6 months and you don’t need to sign up at ovir.

It is also possible to get a private visa for 12 months. You have to sign up after 6 months at ovir.

The price for a 6 month visa is 180 euro, multiple entrance.
For 10 euro they would also send you visa to your address.
