Questions about bringing my cat to Ukraine

I plan to move to Kyiv in the fall and wish to take my cat. Can anyone help me find the government regulations on bringing a cat into the country from the US? Also, how available are cat care supplies? I just spent a week in Kyiv and didn't see any catfood or litter for sale, but I could have been in the wrong places. Thanks.

[it is possible to take your cat with you in ukraine but you should pass all bureaucratic gates
In kiev you will not get any difficulties to find any thing for your cat food ect
there is a bazar where they are selling dog and cats and food but also lot of shops
