immigrating to the ukraine - chernivitsy

how difficult is it for a foreigner to immigrate and or obtain a temperorary resident visa for the ukraine?? - would one need to be sponsored by a citizen , have a place to live ( these two can be obtained/arranged) and have a job /employment arranged/orgainised??

I am thinking of it as i have met and visited a wonderful ukrainian women from this town whose preference is to stay in the ukraine and would like me too as well - neither of us know what really is involved for this and or if this can actually happen.
