How's your Ukrainian or russian language skills? I know I couldn't manage well with out knowing much more than I have,
Thanks for reply. I understand Russian very well. I also speak Rusian, not so good, but they can understand me. I think after some months living in Kiev I will speak very well. I am Slavic so my native language is similar to Russian.
I am comming in the end of February in Kiev to finish job about living address registration. It will be difficult, but I found lawers who will finish it for 1000$. I hope it is not cheat.

1000$ for registration only or this includes a work permit and temporary residency certificate?

I have other question. I got a job in Kiev and salary of 1800$ neto (on hands). I am single.
I know that it is enough for living in Kiev but can somebody tell me will I live modest, average or well with that salary.
I need clean apartmant with new furninture, not in city centre, 15-25 min from metro station, to pay bills, to eat 2 times per day at home and one time outside (not in exclussive restaurants), some money for clothes and sport activity. In principe it is basic.
Can I save with that sallary money for going out 1-2 times per week, to visit interesting places in Ukraine from time to time and save money for summer holiday?
Please, I need urgent replay becouse I should accep or reject job ofer in the next 10 - 15 days.

Thanks
Hi, I wounder where do you work at to get such net income? But 1800$ USD in Kiev its a big money its compared as if you were getting about 10k $ in usa

I've been to Kiev numerous times now and accommodation (at least for short stays) isn't a real problem right in the heart of the city. I'm lucky in that my wife is Ukrainian so she is MOST helpful in getting reasonable apartments.
My advice would be to start on the internet & ask questions of the Landlord/agent. On your money you won't have a problem in the short term and will give you time to look for something better. Transport is good, food is good, taxis are EXPENSIVE, restaurants are good & many have WiFi... so do apartments.
Good luck.
