Information on living in Ukraine

Hello everyone and I am sure I am asking questions that have been asked before but I also know how often things change so I would just like to ask some questions about living in Ukraine. I guess my first question would be: What is the average cost to rent a flat in Kiev vs. a flat in say Lviv (maybe if you can tell me both in the expensive and more economical parts of town). A smaller flat for one person (or maybe 2). Basically I want to know if I will be able to live on my pension there. I am a minimal person and i don't require many creature comforts. I have a pension of about 1400 USD per month. Thank you for any help you can give me. Also, I am open to any suggestions on where to live in Ukraine.

$1400 USD Monthly-You're rich!

If you look at the previous threads on this forum about living in / moving to Ukraine etc much information can be found there. However, as a brief reply $1400 USD monthly is four or five times times the total of most Ukraine workers around here in Lugansk, so I reckon you can live well, no problems. But how much time have you spent in Ukraine already I ask myself. Because if you haven't been here or to similar Eastern European countries before, I think that you could be in for a culture shock!
