Moving to Ivano-frankivsk as a student.What info do i need?

Hii people!! Am African.What do i need to know? I will be coming over to ivano-frankivsk national medical university as a foreign student next year summer.how is life for foreign students? What are the chances of getting a job there? What is Ivano distance and Kiev? WAITING FOR ANSWERS. Thanks in advance.

- Iv-Fr is quite a nice modern European city - nice clubs with good music - if you're into it. Not much black students - so they're percepted rather well - comparing to cities with bigger African students communities - where brave southern guys already gained reputation of drug-dealers (so please avoid any of it - as Ukrainian law is really strict about narcotics)...
- Actually you'll have good chances of getting job (eg - as a waiter etc) - but first you need to learn basic Ukrainian...

P.S. - just remembered old joke - about lonely man from Carpathian village - who adopted black kid from orphanage. So when neighbours asked him - "Why you took black kid?" - he answered - "I wanted to be sure that he's not Moskal"... ("Moskals" are nickname for Russians in western Ukraine - who were regarded as occupants here since WW2)

Yeah,am african bulgaria. I was originally from Africa but now a citizen of bulgaria which is a small country in east europe.so,i need more information in this thread like how long will i stay in the train while travelling from Kiev to Ivano-frankivsk? How much is train ticket?

I spent my childhood (10yrs) in Ivano-Frankivsk and I never seen a black person. Don't be afraid when people stare they're just curious.

Sometimes you can be afraid though, people may get violent for no reason.
