Hi I noticed from your previous posts that you carried out some research on the name Fedeczko/Fedechko in 2013? I would welcome any help you could give to me about my father Woldymyre Fedeczko born 1913

Dear Igor,I have learned As per Ellis Island Records Dmytro SEMBAJ in Ukrainian it is spelled σενβακ arrived in NYC 7/15/1913. He was 26 yrs old (appx dob 1887). His contact was Michael Boruch, (my grandmother’s brother) on Houston Street,NY. Dmytro lists leaving his brother Andrij Sembaj behind in Slowita. I am from Slowita. Is there any way to learn anything about Andrij? My father recalls his father talking about a brother and sisters.

Dear Ihor, I am in need of your assistance to help find out about my great grandfathers family. His name was Antoni Dudar born March 24th 1891 to his parents Ivan Dudar and wife Katarynza Wlochwicz from Skalat Galicia. He had an older brother named Henry ( in English ) who was born September 24th 1888. I am looking for the other siblings and also more about their ancestors and most importantly where by great great grandparents may be buried. I was told you were an excellent source for assistance. I am told this information may be in the contained in the Skalat Greek Catholic Registers. Thank you so much for considering to help me ...Laurie

Hello, Ihor. I sent you an email yesterday, so forgive me if this message is redundant. Your name was given to me, that you are an expert in Polish/Ukrainian family histories. I am researching my grandfather and hope you have some advice for me. He was Mike (Michal/Mihayil) Kuziak (Kuzyak), born in 1909 in Siekierczyne (Sokyrinci) close ot Zbrozha, Gusyatin district, near Ternopol in western Ukraine, he emigrated to Canada in 1928, lived in western Canada till his death in 1998. His parents: Filip (Felike) Kuziak born in 1877 (was in Canada in 1920) but his eventual address is unknown, mother was Magdalyna Uhryn, who died in her home when Mike was young. Kopyczyne is listed as Filip's address at one time, Mike had a sister and at least one brother, but we have no other information. This family's history will be valuable to me, thank you, so much, Rema

    Hello Ihor
My cousin Ivan Olkynyk suggested you may be able to help me. I have run into a roadblock researching my family roots in the Ukraine, My grandfather was Kyrylo Pereyma, born in Peremyliv in 1881, and he married Sophia Olynyk, possibly from Uvsyla or Chrostkow. They emigrated to Canada around 1905. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I see on the forum that you help a lot of people. I am researching my father's uncle. His naturalization paper states he came from Halychna. I know he married my great aunt in 1913 here in America.
What I am asking for your help is with the following- Family story is he was forced into the German army escaped and came to America. My research regarding Galacia and German army always take me to World War II. Can you provide any information about being forced to serve in the early 1900's. Thank you in advance for your help.
