Hi Bob: What a lovely place to live We moved south of Calgary to Clarsholm after 40 years in Calgary. It got too big I too get angry when I see what is going on. I have just begun my search in Ukraine. I did find a cousin living in Chernivtsi who was a member of parliament (that is how I found him) and we keep in touch. He is so upset what is happening to the country but can't seem to do much. I keep saying "you have to get opposition parties to drop egos and join together" Not sure if he hears that. Beyond him, I have not had much luck, but still keep trying. Wow, 1790. How did you manage to find records etc that far back. I have considered hiring a researcher.
Lucky you making the trip. We had hoped to go, but my husband is awaiting knee replacement!! 3 years agi I shattered my hip while visiting Merritt. That slowed me down a bit.
    Thanks for your response.
Joyce p.s. our name is not that common, so maybe that is why it is harder to find.

Just to say hello back. I live in Penticton BC. Thanks for you encouragement re Kyiv Post. I get so damn mad when I read about the bull ***** that Yanukalin and his oligarch mafia are doing to 'our beautiful country of Ukraine'

My wife and I are going to Ukraine again this summer. Aug or sept? Not sure yet.

We have grandkids in Calgary, and my brother lives in Ed'ton.

I traced my family back to 1790 in Sokal area. How has your search been?

Feel free to contact me at .......bobsuekoshman@hotmail.com

    Cheers
