I am hoping you can help me with some preliminary information for a trip my family and I will be taking in the 2013 to Ukraine. Thanks to Ukraine.com forum members such as yourself, I have been able to learn quite a bit about my ancestors who came over from parts of Ukraine. My family is interested in taking a trip as a pilgrimage to go to the villages of our ancestors (Dobrynivtsi, Skala-Podilska, Kitsman, Vovkivtsi). For a specific trip like this, we are wondering how to obtain a reputable translator to plan and guide through approx a week's worth of travel. Do you know if it would be possible to meet with represenatives in the villages to learn more about village history? I appreciate any information you can provide. Will not be going until summer 2013 to give us all time to plan a thoughtful trip to make the most out of Ukraine and our family roots.
